Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for leadership briefings
- Ensure compliance with federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA) and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to standardize data collection methodologies
- Present findings to stakeholders through clear visualizations and executive summaries
- Maintain data integrity across secure federal databases and cloud platforms
- Stay current with emerging data technologies and implement best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in data analysis with federal/government data systems
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Strong knowledge of data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data compliance requirements and security protocols
- Experience with large-scale datasets (100GB+) and ETL processes
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
