Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced data models to support veteran healthcare initiatives
- Analyze large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive briefings
- Ensure compliance with federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to standardize data collection methodologies
- Present findings to congressional stakeholders and VA leadership
- Maintain data integrity across 500+ veteran service points nationwide
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years federal government data analysis experience
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and R
- Advanced Tableau/Power BI certification
- Familiarity with VA healthcare data systems (VistA, CPRS)
- Active security clearance eligibility
- Proven track record with federal reporting standards
- Experience with geospatial data analysis for veteran demographics
