Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for federal compliance reporting
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive stakeholders using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure adherence to federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and project objectives
- Document data processes, methodologies, and findings in comprehensive federal reports
- Present analytical findings to senior leadership with clear, data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis with federal government or defense contractors
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
- Strong understanding of federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, PII handling)
- Experience with large-scale data processing (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud)
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Certifications in data analytics or federal compliance (e.g., CISSP, CIPP) highly valued
