Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for agency stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity and security compliance with FISMA, NIST, and federal privacy standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements for federal projects
- Present findings to senior leadership and government officials through compelling visualizations
- Automate data pipelines using cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) to improve efficiency
- Stay current on federal data regulations and emerging analytical methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of data analysis experience with federal/government data
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical analysis
- Experience with federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, HIPAA, CJIS)
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
