Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SAS, Python, and SQL to identify security trends and patterns
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports for senior leadership using Tableau and Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support homeland security initiatives
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for real-time analysis capabilities
- Present findings to stakeholders through clear visualizations and executive summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal or government data analysis
- Proficiency in SAS, Python (Pandas/NumPy), SQL, and visualization tools
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Familiarity with federal data governance frameworks and compliance standards
- Experience working with classified or sensitive datasets
