Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large-scale federal datasets to ensure high data quality and integrity.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, PowerBI, or Python libraries.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within government data.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and executive summaries for government stakeholders and leadership.
- Ensure all data handling processes comply with federal regulations, security protocols (e.g., FedRAMP), and agency policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and optimize analytical workflows.
- Stay updated on emerging data technologies and best practices within the federal contracting sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Experience with SQL for database querying and data extraction.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Active Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security standards, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, concise language for non-technical audiences.
