Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies supporting policy decisions
- Design and implement robust data models ensuring compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive stakeholders using Tableau/Power BI
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to standardize data collection and reporting methodologies
- Conduct statistical analysis to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend data-driven improvements
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control processes and documentation
- Stay current with emerging data technologies and federal compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience, preferably in federal/government sector
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R for statistical modeling
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data systems and compliance frameworks (FISMA, HIPAA, 21st Century IDEA)
