Responsibilities
- Design and implement data collection systems, statistical models, and algorithms to mine structured and unstructured data sources.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to present findings to executive leadership.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in federal datasets.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security compliance in accordance with FISMA and NIST standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex data requirements into technical solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation of data methodologies and findings for federal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal sector or defense contracting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (writing complex queries) and Python or R for data manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
