Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify security trends and anomalies
- Develop automated reporting solutions for federal compliance requirements
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to align data strategies with national security objectives
- Maintain strict adherence to federal data governance and privacy regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Document data methodologies and maintain audit trails for federal compliance
- Present findings to senior leadership with clear, actionable recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal data analysis and reporting
- Expertise in SQL, Python/R, and advanced Excel functions
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong understanding of federal data regulations (FISMA, FOIA)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Certification in data analytics (e.g., Google Data Analytics, SAS) preferred
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehouse systems
