Responsibilities
- Analyze veteran healthcare data using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for leadership decision-making
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, VA data policies, and federal information security standards
- Develop automated reporting pipelines to monitor key performance indicators
- Collaborate with clinical teams to translate data findings into operational improvements
- Present findings to senior leadership through clear, concise data narratives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with large datasets
- Expert proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy)
- Experience with federal data security protocols and compliance standards
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong understanding of healthcare data structures and terminology
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA security clearance
