Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret federal healthcare datasets to ensure compliance with CMS and HHS requirements
- Develop automated reporting dashboards using SQL, Python, and Tableau
- Coordinate with federal agencies on data submissions and audits
- Create statistical models to identify trends in Medicaid/Medicare populations
- Document data methodologies and maintain data quality standards
- Present findings to senior leadership and federal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with federal healthcare data systems (Medicaid/Medicare)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and visualization tools
- Familiarity with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 438, and CMS reporting requirements
- Certification in federal data management (e.g., CDA, CDMP) preferred
- Experience with Louisiana Medicaid claims systems (e.g., MMIS)
- Strong analytical writing and presentation skills
