Responsibilities
- Execute complex federal data analysis projects using SQL, Python, and R to support economic policy development
- Design and maintain automated reporting systems for federal agencies with weekly deliverables
- Ensure compliance with OMB and federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data findings into actionable recommendations
- Present analytical results to senior leadership through visual dashboards and executive summaries
- Manage large datasets from federal sources (Census, BLS, BEA) using ETL processes
- Conduct statistical modeling to forecast economic trends and policy impacts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal data analysis with proven OMB/FISMA compliance knowledge
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau)
- Expertise in statistical analysis (regression, time-series, hypothesis testing)
- Familiarity with federal data systems (FedScope, DATA Act, USAspending.gov)
- Clearable federal security background investigation required
