Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to support evidence-based decision-making
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous quality control protocols and compliance with federal regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends and opportunities for operational improvements
- Prepare comprehensive analytical reports and presentations for congressional briefings
- Implement data security protocols in accordance with FISMA and NIST standards
- Maintain documentation of analytical methodologies and data sources
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal data systems
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R for data manipulation
- Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling and predictive analytics techniques
- Experience with ETL processes and large-scale data management (Hadoop/Spark)
- Familiarity with federal compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, FERPA)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical/non-technical audiences
- Active U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one
