Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights for defense initiatives
- Design and implement automated data pipelines using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for stakeholder reporting
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Document methodologies, processes, and findings in compliance with federal audit standards
- Maintain data integrity across multiple federal databases and systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in federal government data analysis or defense sector
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Certification in federal data management (e.g., CIPP, CISSP) or equivalent experience
- Proven track record with large-scale federal datasets (e.g., DOD, DHS, VA systems)
- Experience with data visualization tools and creating executive-level reports
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance (required)
