Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale datasets to identify trends and patterns in border security operations
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for leadership reporting
- Validate data integrity and implement quality control measures across federal databases
- Prepare comprehensive analytical reports for congressional briefings and agency stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision making
- Maintain strict adherence to FISMA, HIPAA, and other federal data regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and statistical analysis tools
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one)
- Experience with Tableau/Power BI and ETL processes
- Knowledge of DHS data systems and border security protocols
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
