Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to support strategic decision-making for homeland security initiatives
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL and Python to ensure real-time intelligence delivery
- Produce interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI for executive briefings
- Ensure all data handling adheres to FISMA, HIPAA, and NIST compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify emerging data trends and analytical opportunities
- Present findings to federal stakeholders through concise executive summaries and technical reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years experience with federal data systems and compliance protocols (FISMA/NIST)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical analysis methodologies
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Proven track record of delivering high-stakes analytical projects under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with federal data standards (SDMX, XBRL) and metadata management
