Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify security threats and operational patterns
- Develop automated reporting dashboards using SQL, Python, and Tableau for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA) and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support border security and intelligence initiatives
- Present findings to senior leadership through clear visualizations and concise briefings
- Optimize data pipelines for efficiency and accuracy in high-stakes environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), and data visualization tools
- Active security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Familiarity with federal data regulations and cybersecurity frameworks
- Proven ability to translate technical findings into actionable policy recommendations
- Experience with geospatial analysis and time-series forecasting
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
