About the Role
As a Federal Data Analyst, you will serve as the bridge between raw data and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to support federal initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. This is a high-visibility role requiring precision and a deep understanding of federal data structures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Advanced Data Analysis: Utilize statistical methods and modeling techniques to interpret large-scale federal datasets and identify key trends or anomalies.
- Dashboard Development: Design and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to visualize data for stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensure all data processing adheres to federal standards, security protocols, and privacy regulations (e.g., FERPA, HIPAA).
- Report Generation: Write comprehensive technical reports and executive summaries that translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in data collection processes and implement automated solutions to improve workflow speed and accuracy.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with government officials and project managers to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal, defense, or government sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS; experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance is highly preferred.
