Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (FISMA, HIPAA, and 21st Century IDEA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on population health studies and policy impact assessments
- Present findings to senior leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control protocols
- Lead ad-hoc research projects addressing emerging public health challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience in government or regulated environments
- Expert proficiency in SQL and at least one statistical programming language (Python/R)
- Familiarity with federal data governance frameworks and compliance requirements
- Advanced certification in data visualization (Tableau/Power BI) or analytics
- Demonstrated experience with healthcare claims, EHR, or CMS datasets
- Top Secret security clearance eligibility (current clearance preferred)
