Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical methods
- Develop automated data pipelines to ensure compliance with federal security protocols (NIST, FISMA)
- Generate comprehensive reports and visualizations for senior leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Collaborate with IT security teams to implement data governance frameworks
- Support audit preparation by maintaining detailed documentation of analytical processes
- Lead cross-departmental initiatives to standardize data quality metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal data compliance regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau)
- Clearable security clearance eligibility (ability to obtain Secret clearance)
- Experience with DoD systems or IC data repositories highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of statistical modeling and predictive analytics techniques
