Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical modeling
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive leadership using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, NIST) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights for policy decisions
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for federal reporting systems
- Prepare comprehensive analytical reports for congressional and agency stakeholders
- Lead data quality initiatives and implement continuous improvement processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Certification in federal security protocols (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
- Proven experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Strong understanding of federal reporting requirements (OMB, GAO standards)
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to regulatory compliance
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
