Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SAS, R, and Python to generate actionable intelligence
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for federal agency stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into policy recommendations
- Document methodologies and maintain audit trails for all analytical processes
- Present findings to senior leadership and congressional committees as required
- Stay current with evolving federal data regulations and analytical standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems and compliance requirements
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Active federal security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Strong understanding of statistical methodologies and hypothesis testing
- Experience working with large-scale datasets (100M+ records)
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of federal procurement processes and data acquisition protocols
