Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and Tableau
- Develop automated reporting dashboards for VA leadership and compliance teams
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal regulations (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data collection methodologies
- Present findings to stakeholders through clear visualizations and executive summaries
- Implement data quality improvements and process enhancements
- Support grant reporting requirements for federal funding programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in federal or healthcare data analysis
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and data visualization tools
- Familiarity with federal data governance standards and compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple projects with flexible scheduling requirements
- Experience with VA VISTA or similar federal healthcare systems
- Security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain one
