Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate federal datasets to ensure high-quality information for analysis.
- Develop complex statistical models and predictive analytics to support agency objectives.
- Prepare detailed reports and visualizations (dashboards) for stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Ensure all data handling processes adhere to strict federal regulations and security protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Conduct audits on data pipelines to identify inefficiencies and errors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or QlikView.
- Strong understanding of federal data privacy laws and compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business insights.
