Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify security trends and patterns
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure data compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, PII protocols)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to integrate disparate data sources
- Present findings to senior leadership through compelling visual narratives
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control methodologies
- Support emergency response operations with real-time data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data analysis or compliance
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and statistical modeling
- Familiarity with federal data security protocols (NIST, FedRAMP)
- Tableau/Power BI certification or equivalent experience
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with geospatial data analysis (GIS/QGIS)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for technical audiences
