Responsibilities
- Analyze federal healthcare datasets using SAS, R, and Python to identify trends and anomalies
- Design interactive dashboards in Tableau for executive decision-making
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FISMA, and federal data governance standards
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to develop unified data strategies
- Present findings to senior officials with clear, data-driven recommendations
- Maintain secure data environments using AWS GovCloud and Cloudera
- Lead data quality initiatives for federal health information systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years federal data analysis experience with healthcare datasets
- Expertise in SQL, Python, and advanced statistical modeling techniques
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Familiarity with 21st Century Cures Act and MACRA reporting requirements
- Certification in CDMP or CDA+ (or equivalent data analytics certification)
- Proven track record of translating complex data for non-technical stakeholders
