DataCore Federal is seeking a highly skilled Federal Data Analyst to join our growing operations in Lubbock, TX. In this role, you will act as the bridge between raw data and strategic decision-making. You will work closely with federal stakeholders to interpret data requirements, design robust analytical models, and present findings that drive mission success. Responsibilities
- Data Acquisition & Management: Collect, clean, and validate large-scale datasets from diverse federal sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform complex statistical analyses and modeling to identify trends, anomalies, and correlations within government datasets.
- Visualization & Reporting: Develop interactive dashboards and compelling visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate insights to senior leadership.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all data handling practices strictly adhere to federal regulations, OMB guidelines, and agency security protocols.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with subject matter experts to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data analysis processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government, defense contracting, or intelligence sectors.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in SQL (querying and optimization), Python, or R for data manipulation and scripting.
- Visualization: Strong command of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (Secret or Top Secret) is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences.
