Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using Python/R and SQL for secure data processing
- Generate interactive visualizations and reports using Tableau/Power BI for executive briefings
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to align data strategies with mission objectives
- Present findings to senior leadership using clear, data-driven narratives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal/government data analysis roles
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Familiarity with federal data governance frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and big data technologies
