Job Overview:
The Federal Data Analyst will support mission-critical operations by collecting, processing, and analyzing large-scale datasets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reports that drive decision-making for our federal clients.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from federal systems and external sources.
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
- Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights for government clients.
- Ensure all data handling and storage comply with strict federal regulations (e.g., NIST, FISMA).
- Communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership clearly.
- Maintain data integrity and security protocols within the team’s infrastructure.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to refine data requirements and project scope.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and scripting languages (Python or R).
- Eligibility for a federal security clearance (Secret or Top Secret preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis within a federal or government contracting environment.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
- Strong understanding of data privacy laws and federal compliance standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client presentations.
