Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to support strategic decision-making and policy development
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for efficient data processing
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards, FISMA regulations, and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Present analytical findings to senior leadership through concise executive summaries and presentations
- Continuously improve data quality through rigorous validation and documentation processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in federal data analysis or government data management
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and statistical analysis tools (SAS, SPSS)
- Experience with data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik)
- Familiarity with federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, GDPR)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines
- Active security clearance or eligibility to obtain one
