Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA) and documentation standards
- Collaborate with agency partners to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Implement statistical models to forecast trends and support evidence-based decision making
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation and quality control processes
- Present complex findings to senior leadership through concise visualizations and briefings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis with federal government or DOD/DoD contractor
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Certification in data visualization (Tableau/Power BI) and data governance frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale federal datasets (e.g., USAF, FBI, DHS)
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance)
- Strong understanding of federal compliance requirements (FISMA, 21st Century IDEA Act)
