Responsibilities
- Data Management: Collect, clean, and maintain large, complex datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for federal reporting requirements.
- Analysis & Reporting: Conduct advanced statistical analysis and create comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with program managers and subject matter experts to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and business needs.
- Compliance: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to federal regulations, including FISMA and NIST standards.
- Process Optimization: Identify trends and patterns within the data to recommend process improvements and strategic initiatives.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, methodologies, and analysis results.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal or government sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R; strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or SAS).
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret clearance.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, non-technical insights.
- Flexibility: Self-motivated individual capable of managing a flexible schedule and meeting tight deadlines.
