Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess large-scale federal datasets to ensure high-quality data for analysis.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to present findings to stakeholders.
- Perform statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, anomalies, and correlations within federal programs.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to define data requirements and translate business questions into analytical tasks.
- Ensure all data analysis processes comply with federal regulations, security protocols, and FedRAMP standards.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, executive summaries, and presentations to communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
- Conduct periodic audits of data pipelines to ensure accuracy and integrity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sectors.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and managing databases.
- Experience with data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or Power BI.
- Knowledge of federal data standards, privacy laws (GDPR/CCPA), and security clearance processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clarity and precision.
