Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making for federal stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools to communicate findings effectively.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with federal regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST) and internal quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts and IT personnel, to define data requirements and implement data governance policies.
- Conduct statistical analysis to support program evaluation and performance measurement initiatives.
- Prepare clear, concise, and visually compelling executive briefings and presentations based on data insights.
- Perform data mining and cleansing activities to improve the quality of federal databases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the Federal Government or Defense sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Power BI) and data warehousing concepts.
- Understanding of federal data security protocols, privacy laws, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into non-technical insights.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (or higher) as required.
