Responsibilities
- Conduct Advanced Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large volumes of federal data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop Data Visualizations: Create interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or D3.js to present complex data findings to stakeholders in a clear, accessible manner.
- Ensure Data Integrity: Implement and maintain rigorous data quality controls, validation processes, and documentation to ensure the accuracy and security of sensitive federal information.
- Support Policy Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate data requirements into analytical models that support legislative and regulatory frameworks.
- Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Communicate findings effectively to non-technical audiences, conducting briefings and training sessions as needed.
- Optimize Reporting Systems: Continuously improve existing data reporting systems and workflows to increase efficiency and reduce manual errors.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal data analysis or a related analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Experience with federal data standards (e.g., FIPS, OMB) is highly preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
