Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical tools
- Develop automated reporting dashboards for federal agencies (Tableau/Power BI)
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, HIPAA, and other federal data governance standards
- Present complex findings to senior government officials through executive summaries
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data pipelines and ETL processes
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support emergency response and policy initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal government data systems
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), and statistical modeling
- Certification in federal data security protocols (e.g., CMMC, FedRAMP)
- Experience with Tableau/Power BI and data visualization best practices
- Strong understanding of federal reporting requirements (OMB, OMB Circular A-11)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
