Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to support homeland security operations
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive briefings
- Lead cross-functional projects collaborating with law enforcement, cybersecurity, and intelligence divisions
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA, PII protocols)
- Present findings to senior leadership with clear, data-driven recommendations
- Mentor junior analysts and improve departmental data analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal or government datasets
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Advanced knowledge of federal data privacy regulations and security protocols
- Certification in data visualization (Tableau/Power BI) or data science preferred
- Experience with geospatial analysis and federal GIS systems
