Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex veteran healthcare datasets to identify trends and inform policy decisions
- Develop automated data pipelines and maintain data integrity across federal systems
- Create interactive dashboards and reports for senior leadership using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, FISMA, and other federal data protection standards
- Collaborate with IT and program teams to optimize data collection processes
- Present findings to stakeholders and recommend data-driven solutions
- Document data methodologies and maintain audit-ready documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal/government data
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and R
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing
- Strong understanding of federal data regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, 21 CFR Part 11)
- Active U.S. security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
