Apex Solutions Group is seeking a highly skilled Federal Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Milwaukee, WI. This is an immediate hire opportunity for a dedicated professional to support critical federal initiatives through advanced data analytics and visualization.
As a Federal Data Analyst, you will bridge the gap between complex data sets and actionable government policy. You will work closely with stakeholders to derive insights that drive efficiency, compliance, and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Complex Data Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Develop Visualizations: Create compelling dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings to executive leadership.
- Ensure Data Integrity: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and compliance with federal standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical techniques and predictive modeling to forecast outcomes and support program evaluation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with subject matter experts to define data requirements and translate technical findings into non-technical business recommendations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or a consulting firm.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R. Experience with SAS is a plus.
- Tools: Strong command of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
