Responsibilities
- Perform advanced data mining and statistical analysis on federal datasets to support decision-making processes.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to visualize key performance indicators.
- Ensure strict data integrity and compliance with federal standards such as NIST and FISMA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical findings into clear, non-technical business recommendations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, briefings, and presentations for senior stakeholders and government officials.
- Identify gaps in data collection processes and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, specifically within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and modeling.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik).
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
