Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with program managers and subject matter experts to define data requirements and reporting needs.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with federal standards and regulations (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to senior leadership.
- Perform data cleaning, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support federal databases.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and SQL for data manipulation.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance (or higher).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into non-technical terms.
