Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large volumes of structured and unstructured data to support federal reporting requirements.
- Design and maintain complex database queries using SQL and Python to extract key performance indicators.
- Create interactive data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations, security protocols, and data privacy standards (NIST/FISMA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings for senior leadership and government clients.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on data inputs and model outputs to guarantee accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the Federal Government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL) and experience with data modeling.
- Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
- Demonstrated ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and data governance frameworks.
