Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SAS, R, and Python to generate actionable intelligence for government agencies
- Design and implement automated data pipelines ensuring 99.9% accuracy for federal reporting requirements
- Create interactive dashboards in Tableau/Power BI for executive decision-making support
- Maintain strict adherence to FISMA, HIPAA, and NIST compliance protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into policy recommendations
- Document all methodologies and results per federal audit standards
- Mentor junior analysts on data governance best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data analysis projects
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Active federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proven experience with ETL processes and data warehousing
- Strong knowledge of federal data privacy regulations (e.g., 5 U.S.C. § 552a)
- Certification in CISSP, CISA, or similar federal compliance framework
