Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and preprocess large-scale federal datasets from various sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.
- Reporting & Visualization: Develop compelling data visualizations, interactive dashboards, and comprehensive reports for stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with program managers and technical teams to define data requirements and communicate complex findings in a clear, concise manner.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to federal security protocols, NDAs, and agency-specific regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
- Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one is highly preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, excellent problem-solving abilities, and superior communication skills.
