Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large, complex datasets from various federal sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik Sense to present findings to senior leadership.
- Ensure all data analysis processes comply with strict federal security protocols and data privacy regulations (e.g., FISMA, FedRAMP).
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to define data requirements and translate business needs into technical data models.
- Prepare detailed reports, briefing materials, and presentations that clearly communicate analytical findings and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of data pipelines, methodologies, and code repositories for auditability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; experience with Python or R is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar).
- Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and security clearance processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
