Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for senior leadership and policy stakeholders
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data governance, security protocols (FISMA, NIST), and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical findings into operational recommendations
- Design and implement automated data pipelines to enhance reporting efficiency
- Present complex findings through executive-ready reports and presentations
- Maintain documentation of methodologies, processes, and analytical results
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal government datasets
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance within 90 days
- Strong understanding of federal data privacy laws (FERPA, HIPAA, 5 U.S.C. § 552a)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data technologies
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
