Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret large-scale federal datasets to support agency decision-making.
- Develop and maintain complex data models and databases in accordance with federal standards.
- Generate comprehensive reports, visualizations, and executive summaries for government leadership.
- Ensure strict adherence to data security protocols, privacy laws, and compliance regulations.
- Collaborate with IT teams and subject matter experts to identify process improvements.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on all data inputs and outputs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Proven experience analyzing federal or government-related data.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and security compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
