Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data pipelines for federal healthcare datasets
- Perform advanced statistical analysis using SAS, R, or Python to identify trends in public health data
- Create interactive Tableau/Power BI dashboards for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security standards (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Present findings to congressional committees and federal agencies
- Maintain data integrity across CMS, CDC, and FDA systems
- Lead ad-hoc analysis projects for emergency response initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field
- 3+ years analyzing federal or healthcare datasets
- Expert proficiency in SQL and at least one statistical programming language
- FISMA/HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI (preferred)
- Experience with federal reporting requirements (e.g., OMB, GAO)
- Clearable federal background check required
- Strong written communication for policy briefings
