Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and integrate large-scale federal datasets from diverse sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations (Tableau/PowerBI) to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Apply statistical modeling and predictive analytics to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in government operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal data security standards, including NIST and FedRAMP compliance protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of policy makers, engineers, and subject matter experts to define data requirements.
- Document data pipelines, methodologies, and technical reports for regulatory review and public dissemination.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik Sense.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance (or willing to undergo the process).
- Strong understanding of data privacy laws (e.g., FERPA, HIPAA) and federal data governance frameworks.
