Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets from federal systems to identify trends, anomalies, and security risks
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation against federal compliance standards (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize database performance and implement data governance frameworks
- Prepare detailed analytical reports for senior leadership and congressional briefings
- Maintain strict security protocols for handling sensitive classified information
- Lead cross-functional projects to standardize data collection methodologies across agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal government data analysis or regulated industry
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and R for statistical modeling
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and ETL processes
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance within 90 days
- Familiarity with federal data standards (FIPS, NIST frameworks)
